Description

A large sterling silver pendant inspired by the prehistoric carved stone now at Llwydiarth Esgob. Available with a polished or oxidised (not pictured) finish.

This boulder now stands outside a derelict farmhouse on Anglesey. It is thought that a previous owner was a collector of antiquities and that the stone had been moved to its current site as part of his collection. The style of art is unusual for Welsh rock art, its concentric circles are comparable to those found in Ireland but its exact origin is unknown.

We excavated the site back in 2008 to exposed the depth of the stone and extent of the carvings which suggests that there would have been more to this stone and that it may have been broken in the past.
